It’s extremely important to us that all our students get to experience the stage as often as possible.
Besides at our Year-End show reserved for our professional, competitive & recreational students, our pupils also get to perform at our Winter Showcase (professional & competitive program), at the MRBA Variation presentations, at chosen events such as the Viennese Ball of Montreal, the Chinese New Years event and at national & international competitions.
Why is stage experience so important?
Ultimately a stage is where a ballet dancer will be performing. A ballet student should have the opportunity to go on stage often to gain courage, confidence and to learn what it feels like being alone on stage, or also in a group. Done frequently the ballet students get the chance to understand how to deal with stress, they’ll learn how to find joy in their dancing while being under pressure of performing and showcasing what they’ve worked for.
