#Repost: Sandra Castro Mühlbauer Since I’m a #Repost: Sandra Castro Mühlbauer Since I’m a Ballet school director one of my priorities is to provide a safe, healthy, nurturing and positive environment for all our students. With that in mind I would like to reflect on the latest addition to Netflix, a new Ballet TV show called “Tiny, pretty things”. I received messages from parents terrified and traumatized of the show asking me if it’s really like that. And the answer is no it’s not, just like the movie Black Swan. It’s very far from reality, too much drama, too much jealousy, very self-destructive, exaggerated and blown completely out of proportion. I don’t want to undermine how determined and hard working one has to be to be able to become a professional ballet dancer. But it certainly doesn’t happen exactly as portrayed in this show. It might be a fun show to watch, but please don’t show it to Ballet students, so they don’t get any wrong ideas about the Ballet World and remind yourself that it’s just a show for entertainment. @sandra.montroyalballetacademy

Zaélie a remporté le Prix Reconnaissance Luc Desilets 2020 pour le Coup de cœur du Député de la région de Saint-Eustache. On y décrit Zaélie comme « jeune danseuse qui déplace mers et monde ». M.Désilets parle aussi de sa détermination, sa créativité et son savoir-faire. Zaélie won the Luc Desilets 2020 Recognition Award for the Coup de cœur of the Member of Parliament for the Saint-Eustache region. Zaélie is described there as "Young dancer who moves seas and the world". Mr Desilets also speaks of her determination, creativity and know-how.

Chers parents et élèves de Tutu Deluxe, C'est a Chers parents et élèves de Tutu Deluxe, C'est avec grand regret que nous vous annonçons que, d'après la Conférence de Presse de ce lundi, nous devons arrêtez les cours en studio à partir de ce jeudi 8 octobre jusqu'au moins le 28 octobre. Veuillez lire attentivement les précisions suivantes: Les cours du lundi, mardi et mercredi de cette semaine sont maintenus. Tel que mentionné précédemment, tous les cours continueront d'avoir lieu à travers de la plateforme Zoom (plus de détails à venir très bientôt), sauf pour le cours de Baby Ballet (2 ans). Ces élèves recevront un crédit pour la session prochaine pour les cours manqués. Les élèves du cours de Kinder Ballet (3-4 ans) qui ne s'adaptent pas aux cours en ligne (Mme Ashley ou Mme Liliana seront en mesure de prendre cette décision après 2-3 classes) recevront un crédit la session prochaine pour les cours manqués. Nous demandons à un parent (au moins un adulte) d'être présent lors des cours pris en ligne sur Zoom: nous aimerions que cela soit une expérience positive pour nos élèves et nous comptons sur votre collaboration pour faire en sorte que cela fonctionne! Nous vous rappelons qu'il n'y aura pas cours du tout le samedi 10, dimanche 11, et lundi 12 octobre dû à l'Action de Grâce.
